Evergreen Home Loans has an opening for an HR Generalist/Recruiter at our home office in Bellevue.

Responsibilities will include a blend of 50% HR Generalist duties and 50% recruiting. This role will be the first point of contact in the HR department for potential new hires and existing associates.

• Answers routine inquiries from inside and outside the company on employment verifications, paychecks, benefit questions and other related matters in line with written company policy
• Maintains Human Resources records and employee files
• Strong understanding of Federal and state laws
• Ability to adapt to an ever changing work environment
• Assists in administration of salary surveys, compile statistics related to Human Resources such as labor hours, benefits, insurance, sick leave and attendance
• Acts as the Liaison for all temporary requests and hires
• Manages the recruiting activities of the department as needed ( setting up &/or conducting phone screens, onsite meetings, checking references, background checks, interviewing, etc.)
• Conducts New Hire Orientation for new employees
• General HR support and other HR projects as requested
• Writes and posts job descriptions

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
• Bachelor's degree required, PHR preferred
• Minimum of 2-4 years progressive recruiting experience
• Minimum of 2-4 years progressive experience in a generalist capacity.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system preferred; ADP experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Client(internal and external) service oriented
• Creative and persistent problem solver
• Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information
• Flexible and adaptable; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
