Princess Cruises - We are on the hunt for a highly motivated Web Business Analyst who understands business requirements while overseeing the testing of HR systems. Reporting directly to the Director, HRIS and HR Operations, this person has strong data and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and design business solutions for the HR organization.

Serves as a liaison between the Human Resources and Information Technology Departments to provide systems support and analysis and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of HR and the users of HR information systems throughout the company.

Assists staff with technical issues related to the HRIS system by investigating problems and developing detailed suggestions for resolution of issues.

Utilizes all available tools and information sources to elicit requirements, such as; web analytics data, interviews/meetings, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, user stories and workflow analysis.

Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that occur during the course of projects.

Monitors project work to ensure that progress is maintained within expected guidelines and is completed on a timely basis.

Works with HR staff in the development of project scope of work documents and project plans that include analysis of cost, benefit, work schedule, related risks and return on investment.

Participates in HRIS implementation projects and assists with the development of Requests for Proposals. (RFPs)

Assists management in identifying and analyzing options and recommends business process enhancements.

Participates in the development of business processes which support enhancements to current system or new development and consults with Information Technology to review technical specifications.

Instructs staff in use of new methods and procedures associated with new system or reports and supervises staff closely in implementation phases of new systems.

Assists in developing training plans and training documents. Assists in training HR Department staff and others on utilizing HR computer systems.

Aids product team members with quality assurance, documentation, meeting notes, ad hoc report generation and data analysis as needed.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent work experience.

Three or more years experience in web development or content management analysis.

Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong relationship building skills with internal and external partners and senior staff.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Proficient in Content Management Systems (CMS), such as Sitefinity, SharePoint or other open source systems.


Experience using PeopleSoft Query to write reports.

Possesses the ability to work creatively and efficiently under deadlines.
