Unique opportunity for bilingual HR Manager with manufacturing/warehouse experience to create a new HR department in a midsize company with 100 to 150 employees.

• Plans, coordinates, and manages all Human Resources functions for the company.

•Prepare and maintain company compensation structure, job documentation, and performance evaluation systems

• Responsible for developing an employee oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, employee retention and development.

• Partners with our CFO to make recommendations in the selection of employee benefits (Health, Workers’ Comp, 401k, etc.)

• Responsible for ensuring that the company maintains appropriate human resources policies and procedures in accordance with respective legal, regulatory and industry bodies and communicates these requirements effectively to our employees, government bodies and other interested parties.

• Represents the company at legal hearings involving employees with regard to EEOC, DOL, Workers’ Comp, State or other regulatory bodies, and effectively resolves employee disputes, claims, and legal matters.

• Utilizes available compensation information to ensure that the company maintains competitive compensation plans.

• Responsible for sourcing all company manpower needs. Partners with Operations and possible outside hiring agencies to ensure that those needs are met.

• Performs social compliance audits and security audits as needed.

• Manages the HR operating budget.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
• Capable of assuming human resource responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Possesses a collaborative leadership style and takes responsibility for the development and activities of subordinates.

• Has demonstrated or is capable of effectively soliciting and applying internal and external customer feedback, fostering a quality focus in others and driving process, service and/or product improvements.

• Ensures clear and timely communication within department and with other departments to maximize quality, productivity and minimize down time.

• Demonstrates leadership in the support of the Company Values and mission.

• Able to communicate effectively at all levels within the company. Exercises tact and discretion in interpersonal contacts.

• Display a positive attitude to business issues and challenges and exercises a “can do” approach at all times.

• Acts as a problem solver and team player.

• Possesses good written and verbal communication skills.

• Experienced with a personal computer and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Effectively and succinctly communicates key personnel issues and identifies potential solutions.

• Capable of presenting technical information and/or procedures to the management team.

• Respects confidentiality of privileged information
