Organizational Development Specialist
The Learning & Development Coordinator will aide in improving the effectiveness of current and future leaders by assisting with talent development efforts. Responsibilities include the preparation of robust workforce and talent data reporting to drive increased visibility into the current workforce and future successors. Incumbent will also coordinate assessment and development processes for emerging leadership talent, track the overall Organization & Talent Development budget, coordinate vendor set-up and contracting, purchase order creation and invoice processing, and chargebacks for cost recovery.
Incumbent will work closely with Learning & Development Consultants, Workforce Planning Consultant, HRIS, and the Organization & Talent Development Leadership team.
•Robust workforce and talent data
•Positive internal customer and vendor interactions
•Effectively executed assessment and development processes
•Efficient set-up for new vendors and services
•Timely and accurate payment of invoices and chargebacks
•Clear visibility into budget expenditures and projections
•Compiles workforce and labor analyses and projections via data from PeopleSoft and other benchmarking sources.
•Contributes to the analysis of workforce and labor data to be utilized in the Workforce Planning process.
• Leadership Talent Identification & Succession
•Compiles talent metrics providing an accurate snapshot at progress towards building leadership bench strength.
•Drives roll-up of annual talent review and succession planning results including inventories of high-potential leaders at various levels.
Talent Pool Development
•Coordinates execution of identified assessments and development processes for emerging leadership talent.
• Budgeting, Chargebacks & Vendor Set-Up
•Tracks the overall Organization & Talent Development budget providing visibility to Organization & Talent Development leadership.
•Executes invoice payments for leadership development related expenditures to deliver programs within established budgets.
•Creates purchase orders and processes invoices for all Organization & Talent Development activity via Maximo & Catalyst.
•Facilitates new vendor set-up and contracting in conjunction with Supply Chain partners.
•Maintains existing contracts for external services.
•Facilitates compilation of Organization & Talent Development reports to track service and progress towards strategic objectives.
•Conducts day-to-day administrative duties associated with being a team member of a professional staff.
•Provides and receives back-up and work-sharing support with other L&D coordinator staff to manage shifting work volumes and priorities.
Education, training, experience:
•Associates degree. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
•2+ years related experience in data analysis, reporting, budgeting, and/or vendor management.
•Experience creating queries and compiling data from management systems (i.e. PeopleSoft)
•Experience with expense tracking, budgeting, and invoicing
•Experience with procurement and accounts payable tools (i.e. Catalyst, Maximo etc.)
•Experience working with external vendors in establishing contracts and/or payment related issues.
•Works independently; receives minimal guidance
•Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience, may direct the work of other staff members.
•Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and support multiple people/programs simultaneously
•Ability to exercise independent judgment to make timely decisions, solve complex problems and prioritize projects/responsibilities
•Exceptional organizational skills, follow-up disciplines and attention to detail
•Ability to provide outstanding customer service
•Strong technical skills in tools such as Microsoft Office products, e-mail, internet research. Experience with Microsoft Excel required.
