U.S. Corrugated, Inc., a growing independent Corrugated Container manufacturer located in the Midwest and Southern regions of the U.S. is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist. This position is responsible for the support and administration of our recruiting strategy including the identification, sourcing, and attracting top talent for the organization. This position will be based out of our Coal Center PA office as part of our Corporate Group supporting six locations and more than 450 employees.
Essential Functions: Responsible for cost-effective recruiting for exempt, office administrative and hourly production positions for all company locations resulting in the identification and initial contact of qualified candidates to support organization goals
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with an immediate sense of urgency on all matters
• Conducts sourcing and recruiting searches intended to obtain qualified, A-Player candidates based on developed job descriptions from diverse sources
• Sources candidates through internet, internal/external referrals, employment events, trade school/university relations, cold calling and other methods
• Participation in employment events, career fairs, and the preparation of materials for such events
• Ability to work with hiring managers to identify needs, qualifications, and responsibilities for open positions
• Conducts telephone pre-screens using behavioral based interview techniques; and the referral of candidates to hiring managers for consideration based on skills and local hiring profiles
• Maintains position and candidate data in appropriate manner to facilitate the filling of a position
• Draft and sends correspondence to candidates and others as necessary
• Work with site personnel to coordinate interview schedules and the on-boarding process
• Must be able to travel 15 to 25 percent of work time
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
• Minimum of 3 years talent acquisition experience required
• Demonstrated success in recruiting for exempt and hourly positions, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong project management/organizational skills with close attention to detail
• Ability to self-prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of sourcing strategies to proactively build candidate pipelines that generate quality candidates to meet business needs in a cost effective manner
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications and the ability to communicate in a professional manner verbally and in writing

Education / Certifications
• BA/BS degree in HR or business, preferred; or equivalent level of relevant experience
• PHR preferred
