Lifestyle Communities seeks to hire a Talent & Recruiting Coordinator to join its Human Resource team at our Arena District headquarters. This role is responsible for coordinating recruiting and onboarding activities and performing other human resource functions for affiliated companies. Lifestyle Communities is a multi-family, real estate developer specializing in developing and managing master planned, class A apartment communities and creating incredible living experiences for residents. We have communities in the Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee markets with our headquarters located in Columbus, Ohio. In alignment to the Company's brand strategy of delivering the good life, this role is going to focus on creating positive, unique and memorable experiences for our customers.
Key job functions are going to include, but not be limited to;
Coordinates recruitment activities including, but not limited to, applicant sourcing, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, facilitating interviews and managing correspondence with candidates
Manages aspects of pre-employment activities by partnering with a third party vendor
Assists with the facilitation of on boarding activities including new hire orientation
Assists with and enhances electronic file organization and record retention
Assists in aspects of benefit administration for newly eligible associates
Assists with promoting a vibrant, positive work environment and helps strengthen our organizational culture
Completes other projects as directed or assigned
Education, training, experience:
Qualified candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business or related discipline. Internship experience or 1 year of recruiting or human resource work experience is preferred but not required. Work requires expertise with recruitment practices or strong interest and aptitude to acquire such expertise. Work requires strong communication and interpersonal Skills. Strong judgment, critical thinking and decision-making skills are necessary. One must have the ability to uphold confidentiality with all sensitive matters at all times. Candidates must have aptitude to adhere to applicable employment laws. Work requires the ability to learn HRMS software and recruiting and onboarding application. Experience with Oracle/Taleo Recruit and Onboarding is desired. The ability to build internal relationships and work in a team environment is required. Work requires the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
