Navis has an immediate temporary opportunity to join the world’s leading software supplier of critical information technology solutions that manage and optimize the flow of goods within and between facilities in the global supply chain.

Navis is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Human Resources Consultant at our international Corporate Headquarters. The HR Consultant will assist in key human resources areas including benefits administration, Workday HRMS and other HR initiatives.

The HR Consultant will not only work with multiple business units (both domestic and international) to help resolve employee issues, but also provide generalist duties that include:

  • Administering Workday HRMS, ensuring data integrity, trouble-shooting system issues and resolving employee concerns
  • Preparing various HR and management reports
  • Maintaining personnel files and other employee information
  • Benefits administration, including managing US and international benefits, open enrollment, census reporting, Worker’s Compensation, Leaves of Absence, Unemployment, etc.
  • On-boarding new hires and off-boarding
  • Day-to-day HR administration and employee questions
  • Policy adherence and legal compliance
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years previous HR experience in a professional environment
  • 1-2 years of experience as a System Administrator using Workday HRMS
  • Strong background in benefits administration
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Excellent communication, presentation and computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to rapidly build rapport with employees of diverse backgrounds
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • HR certification preferred
