As Human Resources and Facilities Coordinator reporting to our Corporate Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating various Human Resources activities relating to the administration of benefit programs, maintenance of records and files, production of various reports and data as well as coordinating the maintenance and upkeep of the corporate office and grounds.

Your Human Resources duties will include: Coordinating payroll activities in conjunction with Accounting; assisting Corporate Human Resources Manager with the administration of group insurances; coordinating past and present employment verifications verbally and in writing; coordinating leaves of absences and disability leaves; ensuring mandated annual government reporting is completed within the required timeframe; updating Company policies as needed; maintaining Human Resources information on the Company Intranet and posting announcements as needed; assisting the Human Resources Specialist with events as required; providing administrative support to the department as needed.

Your Facilities duties will include: coordinating the maintenance and upkeep of the corporate office and grounds; assisting in the development of and adherence to the facilities budget; coordinating all mail room functions; ensuring supplies and necessary services are maintained; coordinating the food and drink in the corporate café; coordinating meeting and activity set up at the Corporate Office including setting up and tearing down conference room and café/atrium areas as needed.

The requirements for this position include: minimum of an Associates Degree in Business or Human Resources with at least two years of Human Resources experience or equivalent; strong computer skills including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS); understanding of commercial building maintenance and equipment prefered; ability to lift and move heavy objects such as tables, chairs, equipment and packages weighing 50 or more pounds; ability to travel locally on a regular basis to pick up supplies and run errands as needed; availability for on-call and security issues 24/7.
