Program Administrator 2 - Trainer

Unique opportunity at Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities to be involved with the Business Enterprise (BE) program.
As the Trainer for the BE program, you will formulate, implement and update policies and procedures, ensure compliance with federal and state rules, program regulations and policies and provide management consultation services to food service facility operators and BE Specialists; inspect and appraise BE facilities; develop, write, implement and maintain licensee training programs for visually impaired consumers; travel and conduct on-going training to BE operators and staff; develop, update and verify accuracy of training materials; coordinate meetings and provide ongoing direction and guidance to BE area staff.
Analyzes and evaluates BE program data to ensure compliance, develops and delivers a BE marketing plan; maintains BE intranet web page, oversees and distributes BE monthly newsletter and all BE outreach and program marketing materials, responsible for developing content and coordinating publishing. makes presentations to individuals and /or groups relevant to the food industry; coordinates statewide regional and local BE meetings Works in tandem with BSVI to recruit, train and assist licensed operators in the operation of facilities; coordinates recruiting efforts with BSVI offices to identify prospective participants; interviews and screens prospective participants.
Education, training, experience:
Qualified candidates must possess:
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration;
and 2 years of training or experience in a supervisory, administrative and/or managerial position;
Or 4 or training or experience in business administration management science or public administration;
Or 1 year of experience as a Program Administrator 1.
The starting salary for this position is $23.04 per hour.
